Proximity

In class today we discussed proximity is very interesting actually. In the video above it somewhat touches on the proper elevator etiquette - really who does stand that close to someone like that unless they are together? I know I think about stuff like that all the time. For example, no matter how shallow it may seem, when I see a guy and girl walking together if they are a certain distance from each other you can sometimes tell if they are together, so I will say to myself "wow really?, she/he could do better" etc etc. Also like today in class if I am talking to someone I would like them to be close to me, not too close though because I do tend to get uncomfortable. I do not feel like you are listening to what I am saying or if you even care to! Proximity is very interesting. I can also relate to what Jason was talking about today in class when he discussed about how people in Spain always want to be close to you. My best friend is El Salvadorian and in their culture it is proper to kiss when saying hello, and until this day I always feel so awkward!
